Hello and Good Bye

Yesterday was by far one of the saddest days I have had in five years! We have all been awaiting the arrival of the newest member of our family. But life has a way of slapping use back into reality. Scott and Megan have lost their little unborn baby boy. He was born around eleven p.m.. He was perfect in every way. Ten little toes, ten little fingers, two cute little ears, everything that you would expected on a new baby. But the fact of the matter is all we saw was his body, his spirit has remained with Heavenly Father. Scott and Megan are comforted by the fact that he was born under the covenant of their eternal marriage. We will miss you dearly LITTLE ONE.

We had a GREAT SNOW GOOSE WEEKEND

The Snow Goose Festival was awesome. The weather was perfect and the visitor were in the hundreds, the geese in the thousands. The sun was warm and the Gunnison Bend Reservoir was calm and blue. I had a great time meeting and greeting festival goers and I did a bit of P-Ring. There were spotting scopes lined all along the shore for the viewing pleasure of the snow gesse.

Well I am up to my waste in Snow Goose

Well this is the time of the year when my cup run nth over. Of course you all know it is tax season and I am always putting things off until the last minute. Then it is the annual Snow Goose Festival and I am busier then you could believe. But I am having a lot of fun at it. It is always fun to see if you can pull it off. Any thing. Will as a Mother of 3 girls I learned after the first wedding I did for Amanda. The only thing that is important is THEY GOT MARRIED. You are the only ones that have all those ideas of how you want it to go. But in the end, all that matters is THEY GOT MARRIED. So with this in mind, we go forth. Two weeks from today we will have finished your first day and Saturday is at our heels. Tomorrow the taxes will be out of the way and off to the next job. THANK GOD I have one!

ALL IS WELL (so far)

I had the surgery yesterday and everything is going pretty good. I am a little tried, a little sore and would like to get back to real life. Thanks for all the positive feelings and that I received from everyone. I will be back and rolling next week.

Round Two

A year ago I had my gallbladder out. It was the worst thing I have had. I would have much rather had a c-section then to have had the attacks. The surgery was simple, I had it on a Wed. and was back at work on the following Monday.
For the last couple of months I have felt a bulge on the right side of my upper stomach. Finally last Friday it went to see Dr Shamo. He asked what had brought me in and I said I had a lump in my stomach and it better not be a baby ( I am almost 51, with almost 12 Grandchildren, for Pete sakes)! Dr. Shamo ask if it was moving? Is it kicking? No I answered! Well it's not a baby then, was his reply. He felt the lump and said he thought it was a hernia, so he sent me for a CT scan. Sure enough that what it is said the results. So on the 21 of this month off I go.
I have only had three c-section and all of a sudden two surgery in the past year. I have had enough of this all ready.
