I had a wonderful BIRTHDAY

I had a wonderful Birthday this year. My great family and friends made sure that i felt special. There was a surprise around every corner. First the one that will be named (KIM) decorated her van with a poster announcing to the world it was my BIRTHDAY and parked it in the City parking lot a few parking spaces from my car. Next after I went to the Chamber Social I came back to balloons attached to a box of Ben Gay. (Chris) I received flowers from Amanda and the kids. Megan videoed the kids singing to me. Kellie and the family made sure they were on the ball and gave me a Demdaco figure and plaque helped to make it what it was. Amanda and Megan's family gave me a LARGE Lemon aide Jar full of lemons and limes.
A good friend and a cute young man came by to wish me a Happy Birthday (Deb). The ladies from the City office all wished me a Happy one. Aunt Barbara and Uncle Bob called and sang Happy Birthday to me.
Remembering what fun we had in Disneyland the year before was the icing on the cake. Thanks to all who made it a Birthday to remember.

Life never stops surpising you.

Well once again life steps up and makes me take a step back. Lee and I will be attending a funeral of a friend who at one time worked for us. It has only been a few months since we said our good byes to Courtney and now we will say farewell to Jeff. Both of these young men have left much too soon for their short lives. I am so very sad for Jeff's three little children and Cody who now have to find their way in this big world without their Dad
I learned long ago that a girls first love of their life is their Father. And for the boys they need to have a Dad to show them how to be a man as wells as a gentleman.
My heart is so sad and it will be a very sad day.

Blaaaaa

Blaaaa...... Do you ever just feel blaaaa. Not that there is any thing wrong just blaaaaaa.

Here comes Easter!!!

I love Easter!! I love the colors, the bunnies, candy, eggs, baskets, Easter grass, peeps, jelly eggs, chadbury eggs, Easter Egg Hunts, Easter dresses, Easter bonnets, hard boiled eggs. I can't think of one thing I don't like about it. This is truly a kids holiday. And as you know I am a large kid. Some of my favorite memories are of all of my Uncle's, Aunts, and cousins going camping at Topaz Mountain for Easter weekend. We always had such a good time. And of course that Easter Bunny always knew where we were. Dad would always tease us about getting his gun to shoot the Easter Bunny. He know just how to get our goats. My Mom did a really cute thing with us when we were little. She would pick one of us kids to start with and she would tell them all about that child's Easter basket and what would be in it, as she went from one child to the next with the tell of their Easter basket it would grow. She would describe it larger and fuller with each basket, until she got to the fifth child. By this time the last children was so worked up and then she would say "And all you get is a basket." Of course we would all sequel. No wonder I love this HOLIDAY.............

Another Birthday

Here it is another BIRTHDAY! No Not for Me Yet! It is for Miss Amanda. Yes once again it is that time of year when Amanda sets off a barrage of birthdays, one every week and two in one for the next month. YES that is right. FIVE BIRTHDAYS IN A ROW. Well you know that is all right with me, because mine is in that mix. I do not mind my birthday because I just get better with age, kinda like cheese, a little smelly but I am good.

A Day of Scrapping

It was that time of the year again, a full day of scrapping. We had a wonderful time at Country Keepsakes in Salina, UT. Megan, Deb, Chalee and myself had a marvelous time and made 11 layouts. We look forward to our annual Spring Retreat and love all the give a ways that they come up with.
Tammy and the crew did a great job!!! I really think you out did your shelf's this year.
